ASPIRE Pick of the Week: Miss Sicily Lipstick by Dolce & Gabbana

Close your eyes and imagine. A beautiful girl is traveling in her convertible car, in Sicily. It is late spring, almost summer; her hair combed in a soft hairdo, with wild strands blowing in the wind. Before getting out of the car, quickly retouches her lipstick: two rapids strokes and the fiery red lips returns to shine in the Sicilian sun. Now she is perfect, ready to seduce you with all her femininity, throwing innocent kisses to the men who  admire her.

Miss Sicily

Inspired by the free-spirited attitude of the Sicilian lifestyle, the Miss Sicily, the new colour & care lipstick by Dolce&Gabbana:, The ad campaign shot by Tom Munro and starring the model Vittoria Ceretti, celebrates the sensuality and surprise that comes with living by your own rules. It celebrates femininity, made even more captivating by the hypnotising touch of the new lipstick, which will be previewed esclusively at la Rinascente in Milan, the temple of luxury and fashion in the heart of the city.

Vittoria Ceretti

Miss Sicily pays homage to co-founder Domenico Dolce’s land of birth, a tribute to the land that the brand loves and is inspired by, the first lipstick that combines colour and hydration. A unique blend of pigments and polymers gives every shade a bright effect, whit its ultra-light texture and vibrant hue, Miss Sicily adheres to the lips leaving an inimitable radiance effect for a dewy sensual finish, while emollient oils keep them soft and protected. In addition, it is easy to apply: the diagonal tip perfectly sticks to the lips and the vanilla fragrance gives off a pleasant scent, to engage and entice the senses.

Miss Sicily Editorial

Miss Sicily is available in 16 seductive shades, recalling the vibrant and bright colours of the Sicilian landscapes. Lipsticks are grouped into five color spectrums: soft nudes, statement pinks, confident purples, sunny corals, and bold reds – and named after traditional Sicilian women. Rosalia, Filomena, Concetta are just some examples.

Not surprising though is this collection is quite flattering on black women. How exciting!
