It is no news that the Apple Watch Series 6 is now as dated as the iPhone 12 series with the introduction of newer models at the brand’s keynote event on September 14 2021. What you may have missed, however, is the new Apple Watch Hermès Series 7 which introduces two new strap designs that are as stylish as they are tasteful.
The first style, Circuit H, is described as “a bold representation of a signature anchor chain design.” The Circuit H Single Tour leather bands spotlight the chain motif which is printed on Swift leather and also features on the watch face.
The Gourmette Double Tour band is the second new design Hermès introduces to this series. It pays homage to the brand’s dog collars of the 1930s, with Fave Barénia leather fluidly woven together to form links. The strap wraps gracefully twice around the wrist and is an iconic representation of the recurring chain motif.
In addition to these two new styles, Apple Watch Hermès Series 7 also features updated colourways to the existing Classic, Attelage and Jumping band styles in celebration of the fall season.
Every Apple Watch Hermès silver stainless steel case will come with an additional sport band in signature Hermès orange, while space black stainless steel cases come with a matching black Hermès sport band. The light, flexible, and water-resistant sport bands are perfect for exercising.
In other related news, Nike, another brand that partners with Apple to make its own version of the watch, announced new changes for this new series. The refreshed Nike Sport Loop comes in three colours, and highlights the Nike Swoosh and logo text incorporated into the weave of the band, pairing smartly with the new Nike Bounce watch face, which dynamically animates with the tap of the screen, scroll of the Digital Crown, or move of the wrist.
The Apple Watch Hermès models will be available in Apple stores and select Hermès retail locations later in the year.
