The Blenheim Palace, a million roses, a special performance by Robin Thicke, an A-grade guest list, marble flooring with initials etched in pure gold, a 12ft wedding cake, a magnificent firework display… now that’s what we call a luxury wedding.
There was truly no expense spared at the this wedding, which is estimated to have cost around £5 million.
Iranian born Naza Jafarian tied the knot with Folarin Alakija, son of oil billionaire Folorunsho Alakija in a jaw-dropping ceremony at Blenheim Palace.
Blenheim Palace is a monumental country house situated in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. It is the principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, and the only non-royal non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace.
The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning and perfectly set the scene for the fairy-tale themed lavish wedding. The bespoke marble flooring with their initials etched in gold was perfectly designed for the couple’s first dance.
What caught our eye the most were the amazing floral arrangements by celebrity florist Jeff Leatham that adorned every inch of the venue. An estimated one million roses were used across the venue.
Every intricate detail of this wedding was carefully thought through to match the fairytale-like theme.
The cake, created by Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium, was adorned with hundreds of iced roses and ornate doves and set in scene with an amazing floral arrangement.
Guests were treated to a lavish five-course menu, which included foie gras, beef, and sole with alternative choices like crispy duck egg and guinea fowl.
Guests were also treated to a surprise performance by American singer and songwriter Robin Thicke.
The night ended with a spectacular display of fireworks.
